Technical Secondary School No. 4

At Technical Secondary School No. 4, we offer training in the professions of nutrition and catering services technician and waiter service technician.

Education at a technical secondary school lasts five years. During your studies, based on external professional examinations, you will obtain two qualifications:

for the profession of nutrition and catering services technician:

  • preparing and serving dishes (examination after grade 3),
  • organization of nutrition and catering services (examination after grade 5);

for the profession of waiter service technician:

  • providing waiter services (examination after grade 3),
  • organization of catering services (examination after grade 5).

In addition, you will learn English (from scratch or as a continuation if you have studied it before) and French (from scratch), including professional language.

You will complete a professional internship in a school workshop or in a renowned catering establishment (restaurants, hotels).

In addition to cooking skills, you will acquire useful skills in your future work related to:

  • waitressing,
  • event planning and settlement,
  • nutrition planning,
  • carving,
  • bartending,
  • catering.

Classes related to professional qualifications take place in specialized laboratories and are divided into groups.

After graduating from technical school, you can pass the high school leaving exam (matura) and continue your studies at university.
