Rules of recruitment to Secondary Vocational School No. 1

Admissions Regulations for Stage II Sectoral Vocational School No. 1 at the Gastronomy School Complex /  Branżowa Szkoła II stopnia nr 1 w Zespole Szkół Gastronomicznych for the 2026/2027 School Year

The recruitment rules are specified in Ordinance No. 3/2026 of the Łódź Superintendent of Education dated January 19, 2026.

In addition, for the purposes of recruitment to Stage II Sectoral Vocational School No. 1 at the Gastronomy School Complex/ Branżowa Szkoła II stopnia nr 1 w Zespole Szkół Gastronomicznych , the following provisions are established:

  1. The School Principal appoints an Admissions Committee responsible for conducting the recruitment process.
  2. Applicants are required to familiarize themselves with the health and psychological requirements for the professions taught at our school.
  3. Recruitment is conducted at the Gastronomy School Complex for graduates of Stage I Sectoral Vocational Schools in the profession of cook.
  4. From May 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. until June 12, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., applicants are required to submit an application for admission to the school. During the recruitment process, applicants receive points, among others, for grades obtained in four subjects listed on the Stage I Sectoral Vocational School graduation certificate. The subjects taken into account are: Polish language, English language, mathematics, and information technology (from the 3rd year of Stage I Sectoral Vocational School).
  5. By July 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., applicants are required to submit to the school a copy or the original of the Stage I Sectoral Vocational School graduation certificate.
  6. On July 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., the lists of qualified and non-qualified candidates for Stage II Sectoral Vocational School will be announced.
  7. From July 14, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. until July 17, 2026, applicants are required to confirm their intention to enroll and complete the documentation by submitting the original graduation certificate (if a copy was submitted earlier), a medical certificate confirming no contraindications to vocational education in the chosen profession, three photographs, and a valid health record book for sanitary purposes (or photocopies of the health record book, if applicable).
  8. On July 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., the final list of admitted students will be announced.
