Recruitment rules for technical secondary schools and first-cycle vocational schools at ZSG in Łódź

Admissions Regulations for the Gastronomy School Complex for the 2026/2027 School Year (Technical Secondary School No. 4 and Stage I Sectoral Vocational School No. 4)

The recruitment rules are specified in Ordinance No. 3/2026 of the Łódź Superintendent of Education dated January 19, 2026.

In addition, for the purposes of recruitment to Technical Secondary School No. 4 and Stage I Sectoral Vocational School No. 4 at the Gastronomy School Complex, the following provisions are established:

  1. The School Principal appoints an Admissions Committee responsible for conducting the recruitment process.
  2. Applicants are required to familiarize themselves with the health and psychological requirements for the professions taught at our school.
  3. Recruitment is conducted electronically through the online admissions system:
    • for graduates of primary schools.
  4. From April 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. until May 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., applicants are required to register in the system, select schools and classes, and submit an application.
  5. Deadline for submitting the school certificate and examination results certificate

From July 3 to July 8, 2026 (until 3:00 p.m.), applicants must supplement their application for admission to an upper-secondary school by submitting a copy of the primary school graduation certificate and the certificate of results from the eighth-grade examination (an electronic version is also acceptable).

  1. By July 14, 2026, applications will be verified by the Admissions Committee.
  2. Date of announcement of the lists of qualified and non-qualified candidates

On July 15, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., the lists of qualified and non-qualified candidates for the schools will be announced.

  1. Deadline for submitting the school certificate and examination results certificate

From July 15 to July 20, 2026 (until 12:00 p.m.), applicants must supplement their application for admission to an upper-secondary school by submitting the original primary school graduation certificate and the certificate of results from the eighth-grade examination (an electronic version is also acceptable), as well as a medical certificate issued by an occupational medicine doctor confirming no contraindications to practicing the chosen profession.

  1. Date of announcement of the lists of admitted and non-admitted candidates

On July 21, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., the lists of admitted and non-admitted candidates will be announced.

  1. Applicants are required to regularly check the electronic system to monitor the status of their application and, in the event of any issues (especially if the application is rejected), immediately contact their first-choice school.
  2. During the recruitment process, applicants receive points, among others, for grades in four subjects listed on the primary school graduation certificate. These subjects are specified in the “Our Offer” section (the appropriate school must be selected: either Technical Secondary School No. 4 or Level I Sectoral Vocational School No. 4).
  3. Between April 27 and July 20, 2026, applicants are required to report to our school to obtain a referral for medical examinations (applies only to candidates who selected our school as their first choice).
  4. With the referral, applicants should report to the clinic indicated by the school in order to undergo medical examinations free of charge, or to another occupational medicine clinic (paid examinations).
  5. Candidates who have not been admitted to any school may submit documents during the supplementary recruitment process to a selected school that still has available places. Information regarding the number of available places in individual schools will be published on the website of the Education Superintendent’s Office in Łódź. Detailed dates for the supplementary recruitment process are specified in the Superintendent’s Ordinance. Supplementary recruitment begins on July 22, 2026, and is conducted without the use of the electronic system until August 12, 2026 (until 1:00 p.m.).
